Bob House had a 25-year career in strategic management consulting before moving into the non-profit sector just over 10 years ago. His focus during the latter period has been education and young people.
Bob was chief executive of a charity that provided teacher training and in-school support for programmes to develop critical thinking and communication skills, predominantly among pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds. Under his leadership, the charity significantly expanded its commercial training provision helping to secure its financial position.
Bob’s other voluntary activities have included mentoring for The Prince’s Trust, school governorship, and trustee or treasurer roles at several youth charities.
